Willing

Most times, it is not that we are unable to rise. But that we are unwilling to do so.

Unwilling to accept the simplicity of complex things and the complexity involved in making (and keeping) things simple.

Unwilling to make the time and effort to make it work,

Unwilling to let go of what we have held to be true for so long.

Unwilling to accept that we may be part of the problem,

Unwilling to forgive ourselves and other people.

Unwilling to be uncomfortable, to be vulnerable, to be wrong.

Perhaps there is truth in the adage, ”Where there’s a will, there’s a way.”

The question is…are you willing to believe that?
