Ngena

There is room in God’s house

For everyone.

Unfortunately, even room for the people you don’t like;

The bullies

The ones with no backbone

The snobs

The mobs

The ones who should know better

The ones with a stiff upper lip

The hypocrites

The irreverent

The goody too shoes

The inconsiderate

The know it alls

The ignorant

The ones with no shame,

The shameful

The ones who don’t listen

The ones given to peer pressure

The legalistic

The boring

And of course, the annoying.

His heart is big enough

To include

Even those of among us

We would rather He exclude.

Ngena (come in )

O ngena (come in)

Indawo isekhona (there is still room)
