Her laugh

There’s quite like
Watching her unfurl
Like a banner of joy
In human form,
Laughter turning her face
Into a blossom
That lights up the room,
Her voice into a banquet
I’d like to go to,
Humor and mirth
In the very air we breath.
Her laugh is never pernicious,
Breaking out at someone else’s expense,
But it is pure and undulating
Uplifting and inviting
Infectious in all the best ways.
Her laugh is a superpower,
A place to find refuge
The signature sound of home-
Hearing it makes
Everything else sound better.
